What is the purpose of the yellow light?

The main difference between the special yellow lights and the regular led tube is the “spectrum wavelength”. The normal yellow LED light, such as 2000K, is not designed for use in the semiconductor industry because it does not cut off the specific wavelengths that affect the process. BEST yellow lighting tube is covered with a UV filter material sheet/foil, which effectively filters out wavelengths below 500nm, 520nm, or 530nm. As a result, the values below these specified wavelengths are zero. However, the lifespan of that reaches up to 50,000 hours, along with great safety and stability. The special yellow tube light can be widely used in many spaces, including PCB factories, semiconductor clean rooms, microchip fabrication plants, print factories, etc.

Why are clean rooms yellow?

The yellow lights are crucial for lithographic procedures in semiconductor manufacturing or cleanroom in pharmaceutical industry. A photoresist is commonly applied to a light-sensitive layer during the manufacturing of components like wafers. It is applied, structured, and then transferred to the layer below through an etching process. Utilizing regular led tube lightings (normal yellow tube light) would cause the photoresist to develop rapidly, while it is impossible to do a consistent lithography process within seconds. Thus, with the great quality of tubes, the process can operate accurately, smoothly, and efficiently, to maximise productivity for semiconductor industry, photolithography industry, or electronic factories.

Why LED yellow light in clean rooms?

There are several benefits of this usage. An increasing number of electronic factories are involved in converting fluorescent to led lighting in their production lines. The eco-design led yellow lighting, presented as ESG, offers benefits such as environmental protection, cost savings, and reduced maintenance.

What is the purpose of yellow LED lights in terms of reducing the maintenance rate?

To increase the lifespan of yellow LED lights in a clean room, the BEST yellow LED light tubes are designed with a combination of half aluminium and half plastic. This construction leads to superior heat dissipation and enhanced durability. Better heat dissipation is crucial for extending the lifespan of LED chips, as it prevents them from overheating. In comparison, fully plastic or fully glass yellow LED tubes are more prone to overheating issues, and are complained because of its shorter lifespan. The aluminum material efficiently dissipated the inner temperature of the tube, allowing the LED chips to function longer. Consequently, the lifespan of BEST yellow LED lights can exceed 50,000 hours, and reduce maintenance rates and repair costs.

What is a clean room light fixture?
