Benson Energy Saving Technology have introduced our exclusive patented “Electronic ballasts compatibility” LED T5 lighting products which offering a 5-year warranty to CTCI.

Following the energy saving and carbon reduction trend, CTCI incorporates the SDGs (UN Sustainable Development Goals) into its operation strategy, linking with the development and strategic goals of various businesses. CTCI has promoted total participation CSR for effectively reducing the energy use intensity (EUI). The project of lighting replacement in CTCI headquarter building is considered a part of the actions.

BEST of the BEST T5 LED tubes, compatible with ECG (Electronic ballasts)
CTCI headquarter with 17 floors are installed with more than 13,000pcs T5 fluorescent tubes. The replacement project started in February 2018, and we replaced all 13,000pcs T5 fluorescent tubes with patented T5 LED ECG compatible tubes. We install BEST T5 LED tubes without wiring and keep using the existing ECGs. The replacement project finished in the middle of March 2018, and the 5 years warranty activated by the time. It is remarkable that the installation finished in a short period of time.
It is also proved that T5 LED tubes working with high efficiency electronic ballasts (20-40KHz) are able to reduce the flicker light and provide a comfortable and better office working environment for CTCI staffs.
This lighting conversion not only helps CTCI reduce more than 40% energy consumption but also increases the energy saving effectively. By using our patented T5 LED tubes which has more than 50,000 hours life time, CTCI reduce the maintenance costs and avoid unnecessary wastes of electronic wastes. CTCI is on the right track of circular economy.

LM-80 lumen maintenance standard in the 5 years warranty!
In the past 5 years (2018-2022), we arrived CTCI headquarter building routinely for the lumen maintenance measurement and reported all the records to CTCI. In order to make sure all corners of the building meet the CNS illumination standard requirement, we measured the LUX at the required area on a certain surface in all 17 floors of the building by using professional illuminance measuring device – photometer.

After 5 years, we are confident that the overall lumen depreciation is under 10%, the lumen maintenance is more than 70% (Approved under LM-80 the Lumen maintenance test method written by IESNA), and the total of the defective rate of LED tubes is only 26 PPM. It is an unprecedented success in the lighting industry. All the records approve that 5 years warranty is not just saying but keep our promise to CTCI that all the provided LED tubes meet the quality and performance standards.
